NERAC developed the Regional Cache Program in 2007 to leverage the effectiveness of homeland security funds and provide communities with critical emergency resources that are too expensive to justifiably procure for individual municipalities, but necessary to keep their citizens safe. All NERAC municipalities who have signed the Cache Borrower Subscription Form are eligible to borrow a diverse inventory of equipment. The two operating Regional Cache Sites are located in Beverly and Framingham. **The Lexington Cache Site is permanently closed.
The equipment below can be found at NERAC’s two Regional Cache Sites in Beverly and Framingham. All NERAC municipalities and other entities who have signed the Cache User Subscription Form are eligible to borrow equipment from these sites to respond to emergencies or other temporary situations.
Please use the links below to view more detailed information about individual pieces of equipment.
